Dr. Nkem is a globally recognized serial-entrepreneur, innovation strategist, & physician executive. With over two decades of multidimensional experience – she empowers organizations and leaders to thrive in dynamic and complex environments.
Dr. Nkem’s value-based expertise and efforts have led to enhancing health outcomes and health equity, while saving over $150 Million in operational & healthcare costs. She has also paid it forward by mentoring young leaders and supporting fellow entrepreneurs.
Dr. Okeke served in senior executive roles before starting her own business enterprise. She has advised & supported local & global companies on effectively capturing and applying consumer (internal & external) needs - helping the industry identify and overcome barriers to the adoption and implementation of both new and existing technologies. Her work offers critical insight into the perspectives of key decisionmakers as well as end users. Deeply committed to leadership excellence, she has mentored, coached, and advised Fortune 500 business executives, global health leaders, health executives, and startup founders across sectors.

She holds an MBA & MSPM from George Wastington University, Data Analytics Fellowship from Johns Hopkins, an MPH from Tulane University, and MD from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. She is also a faculty affiliate at Harvard University.
Born in Pittsburgh, Dr. Nkem grew up in West Africa before returning to the U.S for education and industry consultation. She currently advises Executive Leaders and serves on boards & advisory councils for Johns Hopkins Health Plan, Lasell Village, Black Women's Health Imperative, and the Maryland's Health Care Commission for Primary Care transformation. Dr. Nkem is also a faculty affiliate at Harvard Medical School.
